Fitness to Study

Need help with a Fitness to Study issue?
Speak to one of our Expert Education Lawyers.

Please note we do not offer legal aid for Education Law matters

If you are concerned that you may not be fit to study because of a health condition or other personal circumstances, you may be able to raise this with your university.

If you have raised such a concern or, if an academic tutor, support services or your peers raise a concern about your fitness to study based on your behaviour or academic performance, your university will likely implement a “Fitness to Study” procedure to assess your ability to continue your studies. The specific details of these procedures can vary between universities. For further information, see FAQs.

Contact NBB’s expert Education Law team for assistance with navigating this delicate and often complex procedure. We have extensive experience in handling fitness to study cases and pride ourselves on achieving the best outcome for our clients. The sooner in the procedure you consult us, the better the likelihood of a positive result for you.
